Didcot Red Hot Blues meets on the 3rd Friday of most months for great live blues and blues rock, at a location in the centre of town, the Great Western Staff Association Club just next to Didcot Parkway Station. Everyone is welcome – we’re in the function hall behind the main Club.
There’s a lot of great music being played in different venues around Didcot, but the RHBC is the only one with its roots firmly in the Blues. We have acts from all over the country, and although sometimes things don’t turn out quite as planned, we never fail to have a good night! It is run as a non profit making club, and our door takings all go towards keeping the show on the road (as it were). And our raffles are legendary. Come and see for yourselves!
Do take a look at the What’s On page to see what is happening over the next few months. And please spread the word to your friends, families and work colleagues! The Club can only keep going because of the great support it gets from the people who come to our gigs every month, and put up with the occasional lighting misfunction/raffle fiasco…
And if you have any ideas about bands to approach, or anything else that can be done to make the Club better, do please let me know: I am always open to suggestions.
